On Sunday, May 4th, Women of Culture is thrilled to partner with Gloria Feldt’s Take the Lead Women for a powerful afternoon celebrating women in leadership—past, present, and future.

We’ll begin with a private, guided tour of Changing the Face of Democracy: Shirley Chisholm at 100 at the Museum of the City of NY—a groundbreaking exhibition honoring the fearless trailblazer who reshaped American democracy. As the first Black woman elected to Congress and the first woman to seek a major party’s presidential nomination, Shirley Chisholm’s legacy of bold, unapologetic leadership continues to inspire.

Following the tour, we’ll gather at Alison East Harlem for a lively lunch discussion on the evolving landscape of women’s leadership. Together, we’ll reflect on Chisholm’s impact and exchange ideas on how we can continue to break barriers and uplift one another.
