More than just the seat of our national government, Washington, DC, is a dynamic and vibrant city, home to world-renowned cultural institutions, independent boutiques, top-tier restaurants, and lively bars.

On this carefully curated two-night getaway, Art-full members will stay at the elegant Viceroy Hotel , located in the heart of the city. Together, we’ll explore iconic museums, striking architecture, and incredible cuisine—all while bonding with fellow members of our creative community.

Depart NYC Penn Station at 9:25 am —> Arrive DC Union Station at 12:58pm

1:30pm: Drop bags

2pm: late lunch & self-guided visit at the National Gallery of Art ⭐️

6pm: Blooming Wonders: ⭐️
the best of Spring at Artechouse

8pm: Welcome Dinner

Saturday April 26th
Breakfast in hotel

10 am: Tour at the Renwick Gallery⭐️

12pm: lunch

1:00pm: Guided tour of National Museum of Women in the Arts ⭐️
ftg. the Gurrellia Girls: Making Trouble exhibit

(Free time to explore other museums, such as the Hirshorn or return to the hotel)

6pm: Dinner

Sunday April 27th
Breakfast in hotel & check out

11:15am: Private tour of the Phillips Collection ⭐️
ftg. the Timeless Mucha exhibit

1pm: Farewell lunch

2pm: Option to explore the famous tulips at Dumbarton Oaks
(or stay at the Phillips)

3:30pm: Get bags/head to train station

Depart DC at 4:20pm -> arrive NYC at 7:46pm

NOTE: For anyone who can’t take off work on Friday April 25th, you can book the “without transit” option and take a later train.

Both the 3:05 or 4:05pm trains would get you in on time to join for dinner at 8pm- but the trains are very frequent so there are later options as well.

The schedule is subject to change at the leader's discretion and also according to the weather. It has been carefully & thoughtfully designed to: provide attendees the best of what’s on offer, address the varied needs and interests of the group and make the most of a short stay in DC, while also allowing for down time and flexible free time.

Please note that the trip DOES NOT INCLUDE any food or transportation within the city.
Please budget at least at least $100/day for meals, transport and optional additional activities.

If you have any issues with the schedule or prefer to deviate from the itinerary, please kindly inform the trip leader in advance of the trip. All attendees are expected to attend the scheduled group activities unless in the event of sickness or emergency.

Please remember this a group trip designed for the community to experience Washington DC together. Do NOT book the trip if you prefer to do your own thing or are not aligned with the proposed itinerary.

  • Anyone who prefers to travel alone or with a close friend or partner rather than with a group.

  • Anyone who is unable or unwilling to make compromises or adjust to schedule changes in order to accommodate their fellow travelers.

  • Anyone who is looking for the standard, big box group travel experience where their every need is catered to.

1. Who can join this trip?
This trip is exclusively for current Art-full members. If you're not yet a member, you can join here before booking.

2. What’s included in the trip cost?
Your ticket covers:
✔️ Two-night stay at the Viceroy Hotel (single or shared room)
✔️ Curated activities (those marked with a ⭐️ in the itinerary)
✔️ Opportunities to connect with fellow Art-full members in a creative, inspiring setting

3. What’s NOT included?
❌ Meals, local transportation, and optional additional activities, like the moonlight monuments tour on Saturday evening (Budget at least $100/day for food, rideshares, and additional optional experiences.)

4. How do I get to DC?
We recommend booking the full experience which includes a round-trip ticket on Amtrak train from Penn Station to Union Station, DC with the group. Book early for the discounted rate!

5. Will I have free time?
Yes! While we have a curated itinerary, there will be optional activities and time to explore DC at your own pace.

6. Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
All payments are final and non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another Art-full member with at least 2 days' notice.

7. Can I request a specific roommate for the double room option?
Yes! If you have a preferred roommate, please let us know when booking. Otherwise, we’ll pair you with another member.

8. What should I pack?
Comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing, and anything you need for exploring museums, galleries, and restaurants.

9. What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to make sure the chosen restaurants can cater to a wide variety of dietary needs, but we can’t be held responsible for any restaurants’ inability to make dietery acoommodations or changes to their menu.You may also want to plan for separate meals at locations that suit your needs.
