We are teaming up with ArtsClub Studios again on Saturday, April 26 for an inspiring and art-full evening dedicated to the visionary Swedish artist Hilma af Klint—a pioneer of abstract art whose work fused science, spirituality, and symbolism long before her male contemporaries.

In this hands-on Studio Session, we’ll explore af Klint’s life, from her training as a scientist to her spiritual practices with “De Fem” (The Five), a secret group of women who channelled messages from higher realms through séances. Her paintings reflect a deep connection to nature, geometry, biology, and the metaphysical.

After an introduction to her work and process, you’ll create your own af Klint-inspired canvas, guided by an instructor and infused with your personal symbolism and creative energy.
