In collaboration with the Meadow DUMBO, we are hosting an inspiring afternoon where art and advocacy beautifully unite. Amidst the intense political climate, channel your energy to find solace and empowerment through creativity, personal expression, and championing justice!

During the session, we’ll explore the long history of artists who have addressed social and political injustices through their work. We'll provide a variety of art supplies to help you create your own unique Piece of Empowerment. Express yourself with a collage, flag, a banner, a vision board, a protest sign, or any form of art that inspires and empowers you.

While you create, you'll receive valuable information about rights and protections against race and gender discrimination, as well as how to navigate immigration and customs enforcement to safeguard yourself and support your community members.
