LA: Tour of Christina Ramberg: A Retrospective at the Hammer + Brunch
LA: Tour of Christina Ramberg: A Retrospective at the Hammer + Brunch
Join us on Saturday, January 4th to explore the world of Christina Ramburg, during a private guided tour at the Hammer Museum, in collaboration with ArtMuse LA.
Known for her stylized depictions of fragmented female forms and abstract patterns, Ramberg was a pivotal figure in Chicago’s creative scene during the 1970s, balancing painting, quilting, and teaching at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
This landmark exhibition, the first comprehensive retrospective in nearly three decades, features approximately 100 works, including her hauntingly curious paintings, intricate quilts, and fascinating archival ephemera.
We'll meet before our private, guided tour for a delicious brunch at Lulu, the Hammer’s acclaimed restaurant led by chef, writer, and cookbook author David Tanis and conceived with legendary chef and food activist Alice Waters.
All tickets include a private, guided tour with ArtMuseLA Founder and Educator, Clare Kunny. Full experience tickets also include 1 brunch entree + tax/tip at brunch. All ofther food/drink should be paid separately on-site.
Event is guest-hosted by LA local and Art-full Ambassador, Ritsa Panagis.
